There is simply no way we would be 24 games into the season
and someone could have predicted the season that Chicago Blackhawks star
Patrick Kane is having. A single point
in every game this season so far. For
all you benders out there who have no idea how hockey works, a point consists
of either a goal, or an assist. Kane’s
point streak is now up to 24 after his late goal in last night’s game against
the Nashville Predators. With his
exhausting off-season of dealing with an accusation of rape, which ended up
being dropped by the prosecutor, relaxation is definitely not a word Kane has
heard this year.
Now the single-handed question is can he beat WayneGretzky’s record of 51 games? My opinion
is simple. No. There’s just no way in my opinion that in
today’s game of hockey that Patrick Kane can go 51 out of 82 games with
recording a point. Gretzky was a freak
of nature during his tenure in the NHL, which is why the number is so high. Today’s game is a little different, it’s not
about the big hits and smash mouth play, instead rather about speed, quickness,
and who’s putting up the best numbers.
