The New York Giants for some reason have a niche for beating
undefeated teams or in general, teams that are just flat out better than them,
like the Panthers. It is what got the
Giants their two Super Bowl titles.
Especially at home, the Panthers have a tough test next week against the
New York Giants.
The only undefeated team left in the NFL, the Carolina
Panthers with a standing record at 13-0 after Week 14 was completed last
night. Three games remain for the
Panthers and their undefeated regular season, and the main question that remains is can they go undefeated?
There remaining games are against the New York Giants,
Atlanta Falcons (who they just beat in Week 14 38-0), and the Tampa Bay
Buccaneers.
Many people would think the way these three teams have been
playing this season it should be a walk in the park for the Panthers to finish
16-0. Not so fast.
While the Atlanta Falcons just got an ass whopping this
previous week, the Falcons aren’t actually a bad team, and they too, will have
a home game against Carolina.
Finally the Buccaneers, while they have not had a great
season they do have an impressive win over the newly clicking Philadelphia
Eagles team. Can rookie Jameis Winston
pull off probably one of the greatest upsets in NFL history (that is unless we’re
talking about when the Giants beat the Patriots twice in the Super Bowl)?
Any of these three teams have a good shot to stop the red
hot Panthers, only time will tell as we approach the final three weeks of the
season.
