Smith-Pelly, Mike Sislo and Adam Henrique scored two goals
apiece and the Devils had their best offensive performance of the season with a
7-4 victory over the Minnesota Wild.
In seven games with the Devils, Smith-Pelly has six goals
and three assists. He had six goals and
six assists in 46 games with the Canadiens.
Coming off a 7-1 loss to Anaheim on Monday, New Jersey got
goals from Smith-Pelly and Sislo in the opening minute and never trailed Minnesota.
