Devils Head out West, Take Game 1

The NJ Devils will start there western road trip starting off at the SAP Center as they face the San Jose Sharks, after they will head to Los Angels to battle the Kings, then wrap up in Anaheim as they will wrap up there western road show with a visit to the Ducks.  This road trip will be a good test, as the season wraps up and the team will be without their starting goaltender due to injury.

The Devils took the first game of this road trip against the Sharks with a final score of 3-0.  Travis Zajac notched 2 goals while Devils new comer Devante Smith-Pelly who was just acquired from the Montreal Canadians.  The Devils goals game in the second and third periods of the game.

Kinkaid was perfect on the night saving all 30 shots that were thrown his way.  The Devils look to take game two of this road trip as they will face the Kings Saturday (3/12) night.
