The NJ Devils dropped another to the Washington Capitals
this past Saturday with the final score being 4-3 in favor of the Caps. It was a back and forth type of game with the
Devils scoring first, then the Caps, then back and forth they went until
finally in the third, the Capitals capitalized scoring the last two goals of
the game, the game winner being from Brooks Orpik. A shoot out between two of the best in the
league, Schneider finished with 28 saves, and Holtby finished with 21. T.J. Oshie tied the game with 6:05 left in
his 500th NHL game, with Orpik providing the assist. Ovi added one more goal to his league leading
38th.
This is the fourth straight loss for the Devils as they look
to get back in the win column this Tuesday at home, as they face their
cross-town rival, the New York Rangers.
