Hockey Is Back

That’s right the NHL season starts today and it is a great day to be alive.  What to expect this season?  Not much really to look forward to besides the fact that Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel will be putting on an absolute clinic in front of the entire NHL community.  These kids are disgustingly good at the game, they both posted multiple goals in the preseason and gave Buffalo, and Edmonton fans something to look forward to in the winter of 2016.

The predictions don’t really differ, from any anonymous team being predicted to be in the playoffs, it is pretty similar to last years bracket.  However, this year many predict that the Anaheim Ducks are going to win it all.

They are returning most of their team and are just a bully on the ice, they assert their dominance with the big bodies on the team and puck control ranks out of this world in my opinion.  The Ducks control the puck for close to 50 percent of their entire season last year and not losing any of the guys, who control it best, is huge.  Obviously with the season just beginning all we can do is sit back and watch and enjoy that hockey is back.
